Community Clean Up and Lunch at Palisades Post 283

On May 10, members of the Palisades community rallied together to clean up their neighborhood. Nearly five months had passed since the devastating Palisades Fire, and the limited trash collection services in the area had left many trash cans and dumpsters overflowing. Debris and litter were strewn throughout the community, carried by the wind and neglected for too long. Determined to restore their neighborhood’s natural beauty and show their community spirit, volunteers of all ages spent the day gathering debris, sorting recyclables, and ensuring that streets, parks, and pathways were once again clean and safe for everyone.
